Mazzei Injector Company is pleased to announce that we have found an excellent addition to our team to fill the position of Director of Engineering…Erich DeLang. He has extensive experience in the water space and is highly regarded in our industry. DeLang is active in the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Oxygen for Ozone Generation Committee and the Water & Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association (WWEMA) Regulatory/Legislative Committee.
For the past seven years, DeLang has been with Aqua-Aerobics Systems—a company that Mazzei has partnered with many times. There Erich served in significant roles in their oxidation and disinfection product lines as well as aeration and mixing. Mazzei is excited to incorporate his knowledge and certain that DeLang will be able to mesh that with Mazzei’s processes and procedures.
Jim Lauria, Vice President of Sales and Marketing noted that it is the perfect time for DeLang to be coming to Mazzei. “Erich’s background and expertise, especially in the treatment of water and wastewater, will be invaluable to us,” said Lauria. “With the great growth the company has been undergoing the past few years, DeLang will help us continue that progress while making certain that the high quality our customers have come to expect from Mazzei doesn’t fluctuate…that is very important to us.”
“Mazzei is an incredible company,” DeLang stated. “It is well-positioned and equipped to rise to the next level, and I wanted the opportunity to be part of the team. I look forward to the challenges and rewards this position will bring.” Geoff Whynot, President of Mazzei, noted that DeLang is an ideal fit for our growing company. “We are excited to have Erich on board, and we believe that his contributions will be instrumental in achieving our company's goals and delivering exceptional water treatment solutions to our clients.”
