On June 10th, 1999, the ASI Ecotoxicity Laboratory went on-line as the largest aquatic toxicology facility in Ontario with significantly increased capability to provide a wide range of testing and analytical services. The 10,000 sq. ft. aquatic toxicity facility demonstrates ASI's commitment to provide leading edge technology and protocols to industry, utilities and government. Multiple redundancy capability for critical systems (air ventilation, light, power) ensures continuous energy control throughout unforeseen power failures.
Testing facilities are temperature controlled with adjustable photoperiods for acclimation and life-cycle monitoring. Constant environment rooms are equipped with air supply systems and flowing fresh water to maintain and test organisms. Data management systems are Y2K hardened to ensure test and information integrity. Benchmark technical competence in quality control/quality assurance, guaranteed turnaround times, responsive customer service and cost-effective testing delivery are the unprecedented standards of excellence by which we measure our success.
