Boston, MA (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Coca-Cola Içecek, one of the world's largest Coca-Cola bottlers, offering a wide range of beverages to nearly 370 million people across 10 countries, has purchased Desalitech ReFlex™ RO systems for 2 of its bottling facilities. Combined, the two ReFlex™ RO systems will purify nearly 700 gallons per minute (175 cubic meters per hour) to the high water quality standards.
Desalitech states that their ReFlex™ reverse osmosis systems are designed to operate at over 95% recovery, setting a new industry standard in water treatment efficiency. Over 70 million gallons (267,000 cubic meters) of water will be saved per year compared to conventional reverse osmosis processes, reducing the demand for water supplies and reducing wastewater generation. In addition, less energy will be required and the reliability and flexibility of operations will be increased.
Desalitech provides high efficiency water treatment for industrial, agricultural and wastewater reuse and concentration applications. Our next-generation ReFlex™ Reverse Osmosis products feature patented CCD™ technology – a highly efficient, reliable and flexible water treatment platform. The CCD process typically reduces waste by 50 to 75 percent and energy consumption by up to 35 percent, saving significant operating costs.
