‘Desalination' And ‘Ocean Technology Institute' Sign A Strategic Memorandum Of Understanding On The Sidelines Of The G20 Summit In India In The Fields Of Water And Innovation

The Saline Water Conversion Corporation, represented by its research arm, the Institute for Water Technology Innovation and Advanced Research, signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Institute of Ocean Technology in the Republic of India, on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi, which includes bilateral cooperation in the fields of water, innovation, renewable energy, and technology development. The memorandum also includes enhancing visits between experts and specialists, training employees and developing their capabilities in implementing projects, cooperating in organizing seminars, conferences, working sessions and training courses, to improve water solutions and achieve sustainability goals, and enhancing work on joint research in the aforementioned areas of cooperation. ‎

This memorandum reflects the capabilities of “desalination” and its pioneering experience in addressing water challenges and employing innovation, research, and finding qualitative solutions, to expand the horizons of international cooperation and strategic partnerships with countries of the world, in conjunction with the Kingdom’s recent announcement of the establishment of a global water organization based in Riyadh, to develop and integrate the efforts of countries and organizations to address water challenges. Exchanging and enhancing technical experiences, innovation, research and development, and enabling the establishment of qualitative projects, to ensure the sustainability of water resources and enhance access to them for all.
