BOD-Cubator, Incubator Control

The BOD-Cubator Incubator Control converts any new or used refrigerator, from under-counter to the largest household size, into a precisely controlled BOD incubator
The BOD-Cubator Incubator Control converts any new or used refrigerator, from under-counter to the largest household size, into a precisely controlled BOD incubator. No permanent modifications to the refrigerator are necessary. By obtaining a refrigerator sized to meet your needs locally, you avoid high shipping costs and servicing headaches. The BOC-Cubator is ideal for use in laboratories where space and budgets are tight. You can temporarily convert a refrigerator to meet peak loads and then return it to normal use. BOD-Cubators have been in use in environmental laboratories, wastewater treatment plants, and universities throughout the world since 1964.

HOW It WORKS

The BOD-Cubator contains a heater, circulating fan, adjustable thermostat and on/off switch in a compact aluminum case. The flat power cable is led under the refrigerator door, the refrigerator is plugged into the cable socket and the cable is connected to a grounded power outlet. Controlled by its thermostat, the BOD-Cubator alternates its internal heater and the refrigerator's cooling system to maintain the desired temperature. The circulating fan runs continuously to provide even temperature distribution throughout the incubator. The BOD-Cubator has a built-in grounded outlet to provide power for stirrer or other laboratory equipment inside the refrigerator.
