Blind Spots: The Hidden Risks of Outdated Wastewater Monitoring Methods

Source: Hach

Ever faced a mysterious plant upset that left you guessing? Surprised by an unexpected spike in lab results for a critical permit parameter? Not sure what your next process step should be?

This webinar dives into the power of real-time nutrient and diurnal load monitoring, helping wastewater plants avoid blind spots by giving them a full picture of their operations, protect their playgrounds and the environment, and set up systems that will serve future generations across all skill levels.

With cutting-edge online monitoring, plant operators will learn how to track side streams, anticipate fluctuations, and respond proactively to changing loads- ensuring efficiency, compliance, and sustainability. Attendees will explore real-world case studies demonstrating how facilities have overcome large variations in diurnal load, optimizing treatment processes and protecting waterways.

Whether you're looking to future-proof your plant, enhance nutrient management, or simply gain deeper insights into your operations, this session will offer actionable strategies, expert perspectives, and innovative solutions to help wastewater professionals stay ahead.

Key learning objectives

  • Uncover the full story of what is happening in your plant
  • Overcoming Challenges of Side Streams and Load Fluctuations
  • Future-proofing wastewater plants for sustainability and changes in regulations and workforce
