Polydex® is a unique, liquid application which kills, controls and prevents algae and bacteria in liquid substrate. Its active mechanism is the copper ion, held indefinitely by a proprietary compound, which exhibits powerful hydrotropic and chelate-like characteristics.

Polydex® is registered in Canada under the authority of Health Canada, and is approved by the Pest Control Product Act for use in potable water applications at 1:60,000 dilutions and less (P.C.P. Act Reg. No. 23636). It is currently used successfully in Canada and exported to other nations for industries as diverse as agriculture service & drinking water treatment & protection and municipal water & waste treatment & protection.
