ARSENIC REMOVAL - Filtronics Electromedia® I for the removal or arsenic is a compact filtration system that commonly reduces arsenic concentrations to well below 5 µgl. Because it is capable of also treating iron and manganese, radium and other metals, it is the preferred filtration system for large and small municipalities. Our Electromedia® I can reduce both capital and operational expenses. Filtronics' Electromedia® is a permanent filtering element which does not require primary media replacement or chemical regeneration. The system design provides a quick backwash cycle, typically 4 minutes in duration, and reclaim of up to 99.9% of its backwash water, limiting the impact on public sewer systems. It is facilitated with an Allen-Bradley automated control panel for ease of use and remote access. With high filtration rates of up to 18 gpm/sq ft, the system provides greater water production within a very small physical space. Considering its multiple applications for iron, manganese, arsenic, and radium filtration, and its demonstrated cost-effectiveness, Filtronics Electromedia® I is without peer.
