Among the key features to any of the Filtronics Electromedia® filters is the efficient use of water for backwash. For a typical application the backwash to filtration ratio is less than one percent.

Filtronics Electromedia® I filter system uses the reclaim module to automatically recycle the water used for purge (filter to waste) and backwash. Normally, more than 99% of this water is recovered through decanting and pumping.
