Andrew Kingsford Joins WaterStart Australia As General Manager

WaterStart Australia is pleased to welcome the appointment of Andrew Kingsford as its new General Manager to grow its delivery of innovation in Queensland’s water industry. Andrew brings thirty years of leadership in business transformation across numerous public and private sectors.

In his extensive career, Andrew has pioneered major business change programs and is a business and technology and innovation specialist. He has delivered successful reform initiatives across sectors including water, transportation, local government and natural resources and has previously held roles of Strategy Practice Lead, Chief Information Officer and Director with a successful leadership history.

Andrew said he was excited by the opportunity to lead the next phase of growth for WaterStart Australia.

“With the intense need for innovative water treatment and management, there couldn’t be a more critical time to join WaterStart,” Andrew said. “Many organisations are seeing the enormous opportunities presented through innovation and collaboration with developing technologies. In this new role, I am keen to deepen the relationship with our stakeholders and nurture sustainable solutions for the whole of the industry.
