AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe Performs In New Music City Stadium Project

What do the Indy Music City Grand Prix, Taylor Swift Eras Tours concerts, Country Music Awards Festival, and college and NFL football games have in common? These and other events were held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, in the spring, summer and fall of 2023. At the same time, crews from Garney Construction were installing approximately 2,200 feet of 60-inch AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe. The pipe needed to be installed before groundbreaking could begin on the New Nissan Stadium in early- to mid-2024. The new sports and entertainment venue is expected to open in 2027.

This project involved relocating an existing sewer force main near the site of the new stadium, which will be located adjacent to the current Nissan Stadium. Pipe shipments were temporarily sidelined throughout the six-month project to accommodate fans and guests alike. Project work began in late April 2023 and was completed at the end of November 2023.
