Aside from the current pandemic, water utilities face many challenges, including aging water infrastructure, non-revenue water, leaks, and main breaks. To help combat these issues, AMERICAN Flow Control and Trimble recently teamed up to release the AFC SEMPER Remote Pressure Monitor (RPM).

The RPM, which is battery-operated and designed to be installed on virtually any fire hydrant, provides utilities with the data they need to monitor water pressure throughout their systems.

In this Water Talk interview, Derek Scott of AMERICAN Flow Control discusses the ease-of-use and flexibility that the system offers customers as well as an update on AMERICAN’s new center for innovation in Indiana.
