A Disaster Waiting To Happen: Report Shows Too Many Overlook Cybersecurity

Despite several recent high-profile hacks into municipal water systems, a significant number of utilities have yet to take the first key steps toward securing their networks. That’s according to a recent report — published by the Water Sector Coordinating Council and WaterISAC —  based on a survey conducted this spring which showed that many water and wastewater operations need to make cybersecurity an urgent priority.
