ARoNite Biological Nitrate Destruction

ARoNite is an innovative contaminant destruction technology that biologically reduces nitrates to innocuous nitrogen gas. The system is simple – we create an environment that allows naturally-occurring biology to thrive.

We enable fixed film biology to consume oxidized contaminants directly from the influent stream. In our ARoNite system, nitrates are reduced using hydrogen gas as an electron donor in the natural respiration process.  The key to the ARoNite system is process efficiency. By converting contaminants to a harmless elemental state (N2), ARoNite effectively produces zero waste.
