    Wastewater Collection System

    Orenco Sewer™ (effluent-only sewer) is a cost-effective, environmentally sound wastewater collection system. With an Orenco Sewer, raw sewage flows from a house or business to a watertight underground tank. Only the filtered liquid portion is discharged (by either pump or gravity) to shallow, small-diameter collection lines that follow the contour of the land. Solids remain in the underground tank for passive, natural treatment and only need to be pumped every 10 to 12 years (depending on the number of residents and the tank volume).

    Orenco Sewers take significantly less time to install than conventional sewers. And in an Orenco Sewer, material and excavation costs are reduced because the inexpensive collection lines are shallowly buried just below the frost line. Because only liquid is being pumped, system designers don’t need to worry about minimum velocities and associated grades. This simpler installation process causes less disruption to communities and allows businesses to operate normally during construction.

    Orenco’s AdvanTex® AX-Max™ Treatment Systems are a dependable, proven technology for treating domestic-strength, primary-treated effluent to better-than-secondary standards, including nitrogen-reduction. They consist of sturdy, watertight fiberglass tanks that incorporate recirculation-blend and discharge tankage in a single module. Each unit also includes pumping systems, ventilation, and a lightweight, highly absorbent, engineered textile media that treats a tremendous amount of wastewater in a small space.

    Applications

    AX-Max Treatment Systems are intended for large residential applications or for commercial and municipal applications that require advanced secondary treatment. They eliminate the need for separate recirculation and discharge tanks by performing both functions within a single module. AX-Max units are ideal for subdivisions, “fringe” development, hotels, resorts, schools, churches, businesses, manufactured home parks, RV parks, campgrounds, rest areas, and truck stops.

    Flows

    Depending on model, a single AdvanTex AX-Max unit can treat flows of 5000-15,000 gpd (18.9-56.8 m3/day). AdvanTex Treatment Systems are modular, however, and can be installed in multi-unit arrays to handle higher flows.

    Orenco’s AdvanTex® AX-Mobile™ Treatment Systems are a portable, proven technology for treating domestic-strength, primary-treated effluent to better-than-secondary standards, including nitrogen-reduction. They consist of a sturdy, fully-plumbed watertight fiberglass tank incorporating recirculation-blend and discharge tankage into a single module. Units include pumping systems, ventilation, and a lightweight, highly absorbent, engineered textile media that treats a tremendous amount of wastewater in a small space.

    Applications
    AX-Mobile Treatment Systems are intended for remote or temporary wastewater treatment applications requiring advanced secondary treatment, including work camps, forward operating bases, disaster relief and temporary flow diversions. They eliminate the need for separate recirculation and discharge tanks by performing both functions within a single unit. Multiple units can be arranged to accommodate larger flows, and units incorporating primary treatment tankage are available.

This effluent is suitable for a variety of reuse applications (governed by local regulations) including irrigation, toilet flushing, industrial cooling, and car washing.     Wastewater treatment systems designed for reuse applications need to meet permit limits specific to their particular city, county, or state.     FRP Basins & Wet Wells

    Orenco Composites™ takes pride in producing high-quality, helically wound fiberglass basins. The helical winding process produces an extremely strong and uniform wall. Resin-saturated fiberglass strands are wound onto a rotating steel mandrel’s surface in a precise helical pattern. The interior surface is a resin-rich layer (with optional gelcoat) that provides excellent corrosion resistance. After the fiberglass filament-winding process, gelcoat is typically applied to the exterior surface. Fiberglass reinforcement ribs, when required, are wound onto the basin exterior. Basins are designed to be buried to grade in completely saturated conditions without deformation.

    An array of options is available to outfit the basin to your specific needs. We can supply a turn-key lift station, a simple basin with penetrations, or anything in-between.
