Xylem Water Prize 2017

The International Junior Science Olympiad 2017 (IJSO) was held in the Netherlands in December 2017. Xylem Inc. was official sponsor of the event, in which students aged 15 from 50 countries compete with one another on the topic Water & Sustainability. Xylem also provide an additional opportunity to compete for the Xylem Water Prize. They had to answer the question: How do you solve water?” in a video. The student team from India won the Xylem Water Prize. These students think they can solve the future water challenges by purifying salt water in an energy-efficient way, so it can be used as drinking water. Xylem Inc. was a proud official sponsor and we hope that we made students enthusiastic for the water sector.
