Xylem Highlights The Extraordinary Partnerships Making Water Utilities More Resilient At WEFTEC Connect 2020
Extraordinary times call for an all-digital experience with virtual meetings, on-demand product demos, exclusive videos, and live streaming panel discussions throughout weeklong event
Xylem is highlighting the Extraordinary Partnerships driving the water utility industry’s resilience amidst these Extraordinary Times at this year’s Water Environment Federation’s Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC), Oct. 5-9. The company is offering dozens of digital presentations and interactive discussions on the event’s new Connect platform.
“While 2020 has been a challenge for many of us, it’s also provided our industry with opportunities to innovate, collaborate and advance our approach to water and wastewater management,” said Joe Johnston, Vice President, Water Infrastructure – North America, Xylem. “Xylem is proud of our longstanding partnerships with WEF, our customers and our channel partners. We’re continuously working to strengthen these relationships and help our partners succeed through tough times like these and well into the future with our comprehensive solutions and expanded digital and services offerings.”
Xylem is showcasing its solutions, people and partnerships throughout the week and addressing five key water utility challenges – many of which have been exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic:
- Operating strategy, costs and labor
- Stormwater and flooding
- Aging infrastructure
- Stressed water supply
- Regulatory compliance
