Winners Of The 2026 Aquatech China Water Technology Innovation Award Announced

The Aquatech China Water Technology Innovation Award originates from the Aquatech Innovation Award, a global professional award under the Aquatech International Water Treatment Exhibition in the Netherlands. As an extension of its Chinese market, this award aims to focus on exhibitor innovation and encourage and recognize innovative products, technologies, and solutions that have not yet been launched. Inheriting the consistently high quality standards of international awards, the AQC Water Technology Innovation Award combines a global perspective with local practices. A professional judging panel strictly follows international judging procedures to select the annual overall champion and individual award winners from the five categories of products submitted by participating companies, representing China’s water technology innovation capabilities on the global stage of Aquatech.
In 2026, the award received 43 entries from 41 companies. The awards were divided into “Category Awards” and “Grand Prize”. Ultimately, five companies won the awards for their outstanding innovation capabilities, covering a variety of cutting-edge fields such as water purification , water and wastewater treatment , water supply and drainage networks and pumps and valves , green chemicals for water technology , and innovative products that have not yet been launched.
The Aquatech China 2026 Gala Dinner and Water Technology Innovation Awards Ceremony were successfully held on October 28th at the Kerry Hotel Pudong, Shanghai. The awards were announced on-site, and guests gathered to celebrate the occasion.

Green Chemicals Award in the Water Technology Field
This award is given to green chemicals in the field of water treatment (including drinking water treatment, sewage treatment, and industrial wastewater treatment) that have developed innovative water treatment agents that combine high efficiency, low toxicity, high biodegradability, and low carbon footprint through green chemical synthesis processes, natural polymer modification technologies, or precise agent formulation schemes, and that have significantly reduced the risk of secondary pollution in practical applications.
Product Official Name
DEXSORB® for PFAS
This award is given to green chemicals in the field of water treatment (including drinking water treatment, sewage treatment, and industrial wastewater treatment) that have developed innovative water treatment agents that combine high efficiency, low toxicity, high biodegradability, and low carbon footprint through green chemical synthesis processes, natural polymer modification technologies, or precise agent formulation schemes, and that have significantly reduced the risk of secondary pollution in practical applications.
Brand Introduction
Cyclopure, Inc. is an American company specializing in PFAS water treatment technologies. Its DEXSORB® adsorbents have been used in water treatment projects across Asia, Europe, and the United States to remove PFAS from drinking water and industrial wastewater.
Product Description
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a class of persistent pollutants widely found in drinking water, groundwater, and industrial and municipal wastewater. They are difficult to degrade and can have adverse effects on human health and the environment. DEXSORB® is a sustainable adsorbent material prepared using renewable β-cyclodextrin that selectively adsorbs PFAS and other organic micropollutants. Its uniform and highly available pore structure, with a pore size of approximately 0.78 nm, enables rapid PFAS adsorption and high removal capacity. Compared to granular activated carbon (GAC), DEXSORB® requires a shorter empty bed contact time and has higher adsorption efficiency, reducing filter media usage, equipment size, and replacement cycle. DEXSORB® is suitable for domestic water purification and large-scale engineered treatment systems, including industrial water treatment, groundwater remediation, municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis concentrate treatment, and landfill leachate treatment. DEXSORB® can be fully regenerated and recycled for multiple cycles. During the regeneration process, the adsorbed PFAS can be desorbed and further concentrated for subsequent treatment and complete degradation, reducing filter media consumption and solid waste, and realizing full-process management of PFAS from adsorption, regeneration to final disposal.
