Why A Temporary Water Treatment System Might Be Your Best Investment
By Laura Winfield, Filtration Application Engineer

Temporary water treatment systems are common in a range of applications where water conditions are impermanent or for projects with a clear end date. However, many project managers and engineers would be surprised to find that there are a number of common scenarios where both temporary and permanent systems are worth considering. One example is the introduction of a new contaminant to an existing water source, seasonal changes in oxygen demand, and more. In such cases, if the issue is resolved or the contaminant naturally disappears, having made a significant, long-term investment in a permanent system could mean owning equipment that is no longer necessary. As such, it is critical to understand the limitations of permanent installations and how a temporary water treatment system can make sound logistical and financial sense.
