W.E. Rawson, Ltd. Acquires CIPP Tube Manufacturer, Impreline Technologies

(Wakefield, England, September 20, 2001) W. E. Rawson Ltd., the parent company of leading CIPP tube supplier Applied Felts Ltd., Wakefield, England, and Applied Felts Inc., Martinsville, VA, has announced the completion of its purchase of Impreline Technologies. The acquisition encompasses the transfer of all equipment and expertise involved with the manufacture of Impreline tubes and associated textile components related to its installation process. Additionally, other covenants, including all rights to trademarks, are now the property of The Rawson Group.

Commenting on the announcement, Alex Johnson, Managing Director of W.E. Rawson Ltd., stated, "We are very pleased to welcome Impreline Technologies to the W. E. Rawson Group of companies. The addition of Impreline opens new opportunities for us in particular market segments and will complement our existing Applied Felts business very well. Impreline Technologies will continue to conduct business out of its current headquarters in Leicester, England and will operate as a separate division within the W.E. Rawson Group of companies.
