Watts Regulator Company

Founded in 1874, Watts Regulator, made its reputation by "Setting the Standard in Valve Technology". During those early days, Watts manufactured pressure reducing valves to regulate steam and safety relief valves to ensure safe operation of water heaters and boilers. By the mid-twentieth century, a broadening stream of new product developments made the company a leading manufacturer of plumbing and heating and waterflow control valve products. In the rapidly expanding water quality markets of the 1970's, Watts began to experience accelerated growth with the introduction of backflow prevention valves. These product innovations, accompanied by a steady acquisition program, brought Watts Industries, as it is known today, to more than one half of a billion dollars in sales. Today, Watts is one of the most diversified valve makers in the world allowing many of its customers to buy from a single source.

Watts Industries continues to focus on both internal and external growth opportunities. Globally, our two primary acquisition targets are leaders in Plumbing and Heating products or Water Quality products both of which compliment our core product offering. This acquisition strategy provides Watts with profitable new products and new technologies as well as an increased revenue stream and balance in today's world markets.
