WaterTrax has designed a new reporting tool specifically to help wastewater and water treatment plant operators and managers who use the State’s PET tool to create the electronic file that is required for uploading into the California Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS). This tool will help utilities provide quality data to the State and will save time and costs producing the CIWQS output.

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) - WaterTrax today announced the release of its new reporting tool which will dramatically ease the reporting process for wastewater and water utilities who must report their wastewater quality data to the State Water Resources Control Board. Industry leader, WaterTrax, designed the new reporting tool specifically to help wastewater and water treatment plant operators and managers who use the State’s PET tool to create the electronic file that is required for uploading into the California Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS).

WaterTrax users will now have the ability to export their data directly from WaterTrax into the ZIP file format required to upload into the California Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS) database – at a click of a button. The report is simple to use, as all the data required by the State Water Resources Control Board is already housed in WaterTrax. This tool will dramatically reduce the amount of time that utility staff spend generating the CIWQS report and will reduce the chance of errors when uploading their data to CIWQS.

“We are pleased to announce this tool as a new addition to WaterTrax,” said John Yap, Product Manager of WaterTrax. “The CDF output from WaterTrax is fully compatible with the CIWQS database and will save clients time by automating a very time consuming and manual process. We pride ourselves on providing solutions to our clients that are flexible and fully customizable to fit their unique needs. Reports being submitted to CIWQS are mandatory in California for any utility that discharges wastewater. We see this reporting tool as a proactive solution for all utilities who are required to generate this report.”

The WaterTrax CIWQS reporting tool helps you to provide quality data to the State Water Resources Control Board and will save time and costs producing the CIWQS output. A web demonstration of this tool will be taking place on Thursday, June 27, 2013.
