WaterSignal Nears 1,000 System Installations By Helping Properties/Buildings Conserve Water, Lower Bills

With Large Properties and Buildings Discovering A Solution For Improved Water Conservation & Efficiency, WaterSignal Surges With 170% Growth in 2015.

For decades, large property and building owners heard the plea for better water conservation efforts; struggling to find a solution using the old technology and processes that were available. Until now.

David Taylor, senior vice president of Atlanta-based WaterSignal, announced today that the company installed 260 systems in 2015 – a 170 percent increase over the previous year. While sales have been strong on the company’s home turf – Georgia, Florida and Texas – the company realized growth in states such as California, which has a 25 percent water reduction mandate, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Washington DC. Collectively, WaterSignal has over 950 systems installed in 19 states.

“From commercial buildings to multi-family apartments to large college campuses, property and facility directors share a common frustration: high water usage and costs with little technology available to change the status quo,” states Taylor.

“From a wireless device on a water meter, our systems reads water flow in real-time and sends the data to an easy to use dashboard for the facility manager to measure, compare against other buildings and even analyze use down to the hour. As a result, we are proven to save managers approximately 14 percent. With water rates rising, our system essentially pays for itself in six to eight months.”

In addition to real-time data, the WaterSignal system features instant alerts in the event of a major leak, much like an energy surge popping a circuit breaker. The alert can be sent to both a computer and smartphone, and can be customized for business hours as well as after hours and weekends.

“We look forward to continuing our expansion to provide building and property owners a solution that not only saves them water, but can greatly reduce their costs in the process,” says Taylor.
