Video: 'WaterShed' 2011 Solar Decathlon Entry

This is a news package about the groundbreaking ceremony for the University of Maryland's 2011 Solar Decathlon entry in the competition sponsored by the Department of Energy. The piece, by University Communications Graduate Journalism Intern Sean McCalley, describes the WaterShed House and the cross-campus involvement by students from a number of disciplines. Four years ago, the LEAFHouse entry from UMD won first in the nation and second in the world. The competition will take place in Washington, DC this October.
