Waterleau And Dedini Unite To Unlock Biogas From Wastewater In Brazil
Waterleau and Dedini have formed a strategic partnership to expand BIOTIM anaerobic wastewater solutions in Brazil. The collaboration strengthens sustainable water treatment and biogas recovery across the region.
Waterleau and Dedini Indústrias de Base announce a strategic partnership to accelerate the deployment of Waterleau’s BIOTIM anaerobic wastewater treatment and biogas solutions across Brazil. Under a commercial license and technical cooperation framework, Dedini will market, engineer and deliver projects locally, while Waterleau provides process design expertise, proprietary know-how and performance-oriented digital support.
The agreement enables Brazilian customers - across bioenergy, food & beverage and other process industries - to access proven anaerobic treatment technology with the benefit of local engineering, manufacturing and project execution. Dedini brings more than a century of industrial engineering experience, heavy fabrication capability and a track record of delivering complex plants and equipment for multiple industrial sectors, complemented by commissioning and lifecycle support services.
The partnership covers BIOTIM anaerobic reactor solutions and biogas desulfurization and includes access to Waterleau’s SmartLab monitoring and management capabilities to support stable operations and continuous performance optimization.
“Brazil is one of the world’s most dynamic markets for industrial water treatment and resource recovery,” said Jean-Luc Desire, Managing Director of Waterleau. “By combining Waterleau’s BIOTIM process know-how with Dedini’s local engineering depth and fabrication strength, we can shorten project lead times, de-risk delivery, and help customers turn high-strength effluents into renewable energy—while meeting increasingly demanding discharge requirements.”
“This partnership reinforces Dedini’s commitment to bringing high-performance, sustainable technologies to Brazilian industry,” Fernando Cesar Boscariol, Superintendence of Engineering and Development. “With Waterleau, we add a robust anaerobic portfolio that complements our capabilities in engineered equipment and complete plant delivery—supporting customers who want efficiency, reliability and stronger environmental outcomes.”
