De Nora, multinational leader of electrochemical technologies and water treatment solutions, today announces its membership in SWAN, the Smart Water Networks Forum. A UK-based non-profit, SWAN brings together leading international water utilities, solution providers, academics, investors, regulators, and other industry experts to accelerate the awareness and adoption of “smart,” data-driven solutions in water and wastewater networks worldwide.
“De Nora is a great fit for membership in SWAN as we continue to cultivate an innovative portfolio that uses intelligent solutions to provide clean water solutions to an increasingly digital global customer base,” said Daryl Weatherup, General Manager of De Nora Water Technologies, Disinfection & Filtration global business unit. “Digitalization is a key pillar of our company vision and we’re excited to be networking with SWAN leadership to advance the use of smart systems to increase the resiliency, sustainability, and efficiency of our water networks.”
De Nora will also partner in the SWAN Americas Alliance, which has a goal to accelerate smart water and wastewater development in North and South America through the SWAN forum’s collective industry expertise and collaborative partnerships. With SWAN, De Nora has an opportunity to engage in technical discussions to raise awareness for smart water networks; create and collaborate on methodologies, standard performance indicators, and best practices; develop new approaches and solutions to improve network operations; share their experiences through case studies and research; and promote interoperability, synergy and common measurements.
