Water Stressed City Looks At Opportunities To Reuse And Recycle Tertiary Treated Municipal Sewage For Cooling Tower Application

Bengaluru, being a water stressed city, was looking at opportunities to reuse and recycle of tertiary treated municipal sewage for cooling tower application in a nearby power plant. Jakkur STP, being a 10 MLD plant based on conventional anaerobic + conventional activated sludge, was identified to supply about 15 MLD of recycled water for the power plant.
