As the world continues to fight the spread of coronavirus and COVID-19, it's no surprise — and indeed vital for the cause — to see events and gatherings of all types get postponed or canceled. The water/wastewater industry is adhering to our collective social-distancing duty by calling off, rescheduling, or reformatting the following conferences, expositions, and meetings.

If you know of an event not listed here, please contact me at editor@wateronline.com and it will get added to this list and/or future notifications. None of us know how long this pandemic will persist, so schedules — and all of us — will need to adjust accordingly.

The following upcoming events have been CANCELED:

  • Transformative Issues Symposium on Communications | August 17 – 19 in Cincinnati, OH
  • Water Finance Conference | August 19 – 20 in Washington, D.C. (now virtual, Sept. 8,10, 15, 17)
  • EPA Drinking Water Workshop | Sept. 1 – 3 in Covington, KY (switched to virtual format)
  • IFAT | Sept. 7 – 11 in Munich, Germany
  • WaterSmart Innovations Conference and Exposition | Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 in Las Vegas, NV
  • Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) | Oct. 3 – 7 in New Orleans, LA (replaced with WEFTEC Connect virtual event)
  • IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2020 | Oct. 18 – 23 in Copenhagen, Denmark
