Wastewater Disinfection Pioneer, Pasteurization Technology Group, Announces Hiring Of Experienced Project Engineer And Opening Of A Second Location In Southern California
Graham McCarthy brings deep water, wastewater and power expertise, along with proven ability to design water and energy projects, ensuring smooth customer installation processes.
Pasteurization Technology Group (PTG), innovator of the only wastewater disinfection process that creates renewable energy, announces the hiring of Graham McCarthy as Project Engineer. With 15 years hands on experience designing, managing and completing industrial and municipal projects throughout California, Graham brings a deep base of skills and experience to PTG and its customers. His experience includes Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects, potable water and recycled water systems, along with sewage facilities for both distribution and collection systems. Graham was a team member on the Lake Mission Viejo Advanced Purification Water Treatment Facility Project, which was the first recreational lake in California supplied by reclaimed water. He was also responsible for advancing the design and operation of two prototype technologies: Renewable Energy Desalination; and Zero Liquid Discharge Brine Treatment. Mr. Graham previously worked as a research engineer on the Salton Sea Initiative at the University of California, Irvine connecting professionals and communities concerned with the sustainability challenges of the Salton Sea region.
Graham has co-authored five technical research publications for the Water Environment Research Foundation and the Water Environment Federation in several areas of study including: frameworks for energy neutral wastewater treatment systems; zero liquid wastewater discharge systems; and studies of treatment system efficiency and energy usage.
