VoV Enterprises, Inc. is an innovator in aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) flow control. We manufacture the VoV and VoSmart (V-Smart) Valves, hydraulically-operated flow control valves designed to eliminate the entrainment of air in injection or ASR wells.

The VoV Valve is designed primarily for Dedicated Recharge Wells while the VoSmart Valve is utilized in ASR wells. Both valves are installed in the column pipe below the dynamic water level and modulate to provide precise flow control into the well. By starting a well with a VoV or VoSmart Valve in the closed position and slowly opening the valve to the desired flow, the cascading water effect and the resulting air entrainment are eliminated. The VoV Valve allows for single-direction flow while the VoSmart Valve allows for unrestricted reverse flow back through the valve during recovery pumping. The VoV and VoSmart Valves are suitable for potable and highly treated wastewater recharge, groundwater remediation, subsidence control, salt water barrier, water banking and oil-field recharge applications. Unique design features provide these valves with cavitation-free operation.
