Vortex Corporation Launches New, Improved Point-Of-Use Water Machine

Manufacturing Move Facilitates Redesign – Improving Product Usability, Manufacturing Capacity, Creates Global Availability
Prescott, AZ Vortex Corporation, a global innovator of chemical-free water purification products for consumer and commercial use, announced that it has redesigned its Vortex Water Machine residential water treatment point-of-use device (POU), making it modular, easier and safer for widespread consumer use. Vortex executed the redesign in China, where it recently moved manufacturing to accommodate strong global demand, particularly in Asia.
"Vortex's new and improved POU is the latest in innovation, with the everyday consumer's needs in mind," said Vortex Corporation Chief Executive Officer Ray Denkewicz. "An array of users, including the increasing senior population, and even those with compromised health, can not only have access to safer water, but also can now simply, quickly and safely change the machine's lamp and filter when needed – without great physical strength or the added complexity of tools or outside support."
The patented Vortex Water Machine, or POU, is a compact, chemical-free water system that attaches to a faucet in the home – on the counter, or it can be plumbed in under the sink. Using the company's exclusive, high-performance, five-way treatment process – the most advanced water treatment technology – the POU produces the freshest and healthiest drinking water. Its transparent chamber allows users to see the water being treated as it mixes with ozone bubbles within the unit and is then flooded by ultraviolet light. The redesigned POU is more user friendly, allowing effortless filter changes with leak-proof protection – no more struggling to tighten. The modular lamp ballast also removes easily and is quickly replaced with no additional tools required.
"With significantly reduced production costs and increased capacity to meet growing global demand for safer water at points of use, the Vortex Water Machine is available globally," said Denkewicz. "Further, partnerships are imminent in the United States and Canada, and being discussed in other parts of Europe, and Asia, which is by far the largest and fastest-growing market for residential water treatment."
Last year, Vortex Corporation and Cool Chili announced a partnership to develop and deliver advanced commercial water products to Europe. Distribution has also been established in some Asian markets.
