The VARIABLE RADIUS ARM is a low cost option that allows operators who currently use an eme 1100CH, 1100W or 2200CH DAVIT Crane to add the arm without any alterations to their operation.

eme developed the VARIABLE RADIUS ARM to enable plant operators to safely lift and move their Trojan 3000 UV light arrays to and from the tank or floor location to the cleaning tank.

All that is required is the installation of a standard or custom size top mount socket - 18 in.

The VARIABLE RADIUS ARM shown in the photos has a lifting height of 108 in. (2743 mm) and a radius of 120 in. (3048 mm). Arm assembled weight is approximately 55 lbs. (includes Beam Trolley, 'Sure Lock' Lifting Bar and electric chain hoist).

'Sure Lock' Lifting Bar. eme, in response to customer requests for a positive locking mechanism to attach to the Trojan 3000 light array modules has developed the 'Sure Lock' Lifting Bar. The Bar is designed to grip the 'I' beam atop the light array module and positively lock into place. It is designed to provide a perfectly balanced lifting arm that will not slip off the light array module during lifts. One pin is all that is required to lock the Bar to the module.
