The V2B1 is designed to remove an estimated 80% TSS. The V2B1 system is enclosed in two standard precast concrete manholes which allows us to be the most cost competitive system on the market. The inlet manhole uses a tangential inlet pipe to create a swirl flow pattern for sedimentation, which improves flow distribution and reduces turbulence. Proper sizing essentially provides complete removal of sandy sediment. The ENVIRONMENT 21 Center Withdrawal Elbow Pipe conveys flow to a second manhole where floatables are retained using an underflow baffle. Access openings to all stages, provides easy access for maintenance.
