Outside Sales Representative to the Engineered Solutions and OEM Market
This new member of our team will be directly responsible for growing the installed base of UV Pure's technology through specifying engineering firms and OEM customers, primarily in the Northeast quadrant of the U.S. A significant component of this role will be the introduction of our technology and product line to new potential customers, specifying engineering firms, and influencers like regulators and health officials. The position will require about 50% travel.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience with water treatment technology, and ideally with UV disinfection; they will know the market – specifying engineers, OEM customers, and influencers. Inside Sales Support for the Engineered Solutions and OEM Market
This new team member will report to our Manager of Engineered Solutions and OEM Business; they will work directly with OEM customers, specifying engineers and influencers like regulators to provide technical and sales support including reviewing application requirements and specifications, forwarding engineering support materials including drawings and providing sales support to outside sales team members. Our inside sales support team members are integral partners with our road warriors responsible for growing the installed base of UV Pure's technology through specifying engineering firms and OEM customers. The position is based in our Toronto head office and occasional travel within North America may be required to support commissioning or customer presentations.
The successful candidate will likely have 3+ years of experience providing inside sales support for water treatment technologies, ideally including UV disinfection, and demonstrated competence. You will have a BSc or BA, ideally in Environmental Science, and may have an advanced degree or relevant professional designation. You must have excellent written and spoken English language skills; fluency in a second or third language will be a plus.
