Utilimetrics is the world's premier utility technology association, providing advocacy for utilities and information about innovative technologies that lead to improved operations, customer service and resource utilization.
Utilimetrics was founded nearly 25 years ago as the Automatic Meter Reading Association. Utilimetrics has supported the industry as it has progressed from manual meter reading, to automatic meter reading to advanced technologies for metering. Although metering remains important to our members, our resources go way beyond the meter. Today our programming covers issues such as meter data management, demand response, outage management, consumer engagement and much more.

We believe utilities and consumers must be closely linked to compel efficient and responsible energy and water management. We bring together the diverse stakeholders of electricity, water and gas distribution utilities to promote and share the best practices for innovative metering, communications, utility automation, and data management.
