USfilter's CHF-150m Calcium Hypochlorite Feeder

A new calcium hypochlorite feeder has been designed for drinking water applications, which utilizes the principle of erosion – the Stranco CHF-150M. There are three different product models available: No Chemical Pump, Manual Chemical Pump, and Automatic Chemical Pump.

As level in the storage tank drops, the feeder is activated, directing water flow through its activation chamber and across calcium hypochlorite briquettes / tablets. The chemical product dissolves, releasing a chlorine solution, to the storage tank, which is delivered to the body of water to be treated. An all new, patent pending design affords large capacity chemical storage, failsafe overflow protection, and it is easy to operate and maintain.

Constant Chlor Plus Dry Chlorinator Briquettes (chemical) are available for use with the CHF-150M feeder. The briquettes are an effective alternative to toxic compressed chlorine gas or bulky, corrosive liquid bleach. The patented briquettes contain an inhibitor that dramatically reduces the potential for carbonate scale associated with the alkalinity component of water.
