USFilter introduces new filtration system for the commercial swimming pool and spa industry

USFilter's Stranco Products now offers a new line of high quality, mid-range filtration systems, balance tanks, strainers, float valves, and main drains for the commercial swimming pool and spa industries.

All USFilter National Line™ NFS Series filter systems are constructed of Fiberglass Reinforced Resin (FRP) and are available in 34-inch, 42-inch and 60-inch diameter horizontal designs, with variable lengths to provide a wide range of filter bed surface areas. Filter areas range from 7.5 sq. ft. to 50 sq. ft. and single tank flow capacities range from 112 to 1,000 gallons per minute.

The upper distribution system in all USFilter National Line filter systems incorporates proprietary hydraulically engineered ABS plastic distribution lenses, strategically placed to assure a flat uniform sand bed while preventing turbulence, media migration and channeling over a broad range of flow rates. Flow rates range from 5 to 20 USGPM per sq. ft. of filter area. The tanks are manufactured to ASTM and ASME tank standards using molded surfaces for all critical dimensions. As with all applicable USFilter Stranco products, this filter is ANSI/NSF Standard 50 listed.

USFilter National Line filter systems are designed for working pressures of 50 PSIG with a 4-to-1 safety factor. All designs come with integrally molded influent and effluent flanged connections, a 12-inch x 16-inch integrally molded manhole opening and mounted FRP cover, two integrally molded FRP saddle supports and a molded pressure gauge panel with two liquid filled pressure gauges.
