U.S. Filter Operating Services is Awarded $54.5 Million Contract

N/Aany%> was recently awarded a 35-year, $54.5 million contract from the City of Arvin, CA to finance, design, build, operate, and maintain a 2.0-million-gallons-per-day wastewater treatment plant. U.S. Filter will manage all components of the Arvin project.

According to the terms of the agreement, the city will own the wastewater plant and U.S. Filter will enter into a 35-year lease and license agreement with exclusive rights to treat wastewater for the municipality.

This project represents U.S. Filter's one-stop-shop approach to the municipal water treatment business and is the latest example of how it expanded its involvement in municipal water treatment partnerships in California.
