TOC Reduction For Solar Photovoltaic Plant

solar-plant-CS

A solar photovoltaic manufacturing plant in India recently faced the challenge of removing impurities from the ultrapure water used in the production of solar PV cells. To address this issue, the facility decided to install five Atlantium RZ Series HOD UV systems.

These UV systems, developed by Atlantium Technologies, utilize ultraviolet water disinfection technology to effectively eliminate organics and significantly reduce Total Organic Carbon (TOC) levels. The installation of these systems took place after the reverse osmosis system and included the inclusion of sensors and flow meters for optimal performance.

The Atlantium RZ Series HOD UV systems employ three types of reactions to destroy and remove organic carbons, resulting in a remarkable reduction in TOC. Moreover, these UV lamps provide high levels of microbial reduction, ensuring the overall safety and purity of the water used in the manufacturing process.
