The SWAN Forum And British Water Announce Strategic Partnership To Drive The UK Smart Water Sector

The Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN), the leading global hub for the smart water and wastewater sector, has formed a new strategic partnership with British Water to further stimulate the growth of the smart water sector across the UK region.

With the start of a new decade marked by an increased need for sustainable and smart water technologies, regulatory compliance targets and innovation-led funding opportunities spearheaded by Ofwat, this exciting announcement comes at an opportune time.

The two organisations will also collaborate at the upcoming SWAN 10th Annual Conference focused on “Moving Beyond Data to Value Creation.” This event will be held virtually through Zoom from 22-24 July 2020, with two pre-Conference workshops taking place 21 July 2020 on cybersecurity and Digital Twins. This partnership will build off of each organisation’s respective, active membership pool and active efforts to bridge together utility and supply chain stakeholders. From SWAN’s Digital Twin H2O Work Group to British Water’s Data & Analytics Focus Group, there are many areas for collaboration that can serve to further complement the efforts of industry thought leaders.
