The SWAN Forum Appoints Jennifer Rebeiro Of Greater Western Water As SWAN Chair

The Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN) is pleased to announce Jennifer Rebeiro as the newest Chair of the SWAN Council.

Jennifer serves as the Chief Information Officer and is currently Acting Chief Financial Officer at Greater Western Water (GWW). Jennifer leads teams across a wide range of industries and functions, challenging and transforming each one to respond to the evolving business environment and changing community expectations. Recognised as one of the Top 50 CIOs in Australia in 2020 and 2021, and one of Victoria’s Top 50 Public Sector Women in 2021, Jennifer is a passionate leader at the forefront of smart water technology innovation and transformation.

A SWAN Council Member since 2019 following the conclusion of a successful SWAN Asia-Pacific Alliance Workshop in Noosa Heads, she has provided essential industry intel to guide SWAN’s programming and research interests. With Jennifer at the helm, Greater Western Water has actively contributed to SWAN APAC efforts and diverse global discussions across the smart water spectrum, from smart water architecture to data-as-a-service.

Jennifer has inspired both members and staff alike with her courage to bring bold ideas into fruition and represents all the core SWAN values: Contagious Collaboration, Passionate Progression and Serious Fun.
