Columbian TecTank tanks and silos are coated through an advanced, environmentally-controlled process at our ISO certified plants. This ensures the highest quality application, best adhesion and longest coating life. This exclusive coating process is achieved with a state-of-the-art continuous tunnel design, beginning with surface preparation followed by the coating application, and final thermal curing at baking temperatures up to 400 degrees. Our coating systems provide the ultimate in performance and protection.

Bolted Tanks

• Trico Bond EP,TM our proprietary epoxy powder coating for interior surfaces, provides excellent corrosion resistance and immersion performance, as well as outstanding flow, impact and abrasion resistant properties.
• System meets FDA and USDA for dry bulk applications and conforms to NSF Standard 61 for potable water.
• Exterior coating system includes Trico Bond EPTM Primer for corrosion resistance with a Performance Urethane topcoat for long lasting color retention.

Factory Welded Tanks:

• Columbian TecTank offers different interior coating options, providing a wide range of possibilities.
• The exterior of the tank is coated with Copoxy Primer and Performance Urethane or System 3, which is a premium system of zinc-rich base/epoxy intermediate/performance urethane finish topcoat that provides the maximum in corrosion resistance and color retention.
