“To help kick-off the year on a strong note, we are thrilled to launch the 4th installment of the SWAN Utility Advisory Group. This impressive cohort of global utility leaders will help shape SWAN programming and ensure that strategic outputs are aligned with fundamental utility needs and opportunities,” stated SWAN CEO, Amir Cahn.

Reflecting on this exciting appointment, Stephanie Leblanc of Halifax Water remarked: "I am honoured and humbled to join SWAN's Utility Advisory Group and contribute my IT, OT, and public sector experience and insights to their strategic work at the intersection of water, data and technology. I look forward to working with global members of this cohort to further accelerate smart water."

Chris Toop of Scottish Water added: "I am thrilled to serve on SWAN's UAG. As Scottish Water was the lead utility partner at last year's SWAN Annual Conference in Glasgow, we saw clearly how SWAN plays a pivotal role in making sense of 'smart water', bringing in diverse, global ecosystem members to address some of the most pressing water, wastewater, and stormwater issues of our time."

This timely announcement comes with much anticipation for the SWAN 14th Annual Conference to be held from May 20-22, 2024 in Vancouver, Canada with support from the event’s lead utility partner Metro Vancouver. SWAN UAG Members will provide strategic feedback to help shape the Conference agenda focused on “Bridging Water Realities: Embracing Collaborative Innovation”. We invite you to register here for the leading, global smart water event of the year and connect with global utility speakers and industry experts.
