Waterlink/Nordic Water™ Products SuperSand Filter is known for efficient, economic treatment of raw water in potable water plants and process and wastewater in municipal and industrial treatment. The SuperSand filter delivers uniformly high quality filtrate in a single step and provides high solids handling capability. Filtration and backwash are continuous so that additional back-up equipment is not necessary.
SuperSand delivers filtered water that meets California ‘s Title 22 regulations for water reclamation. Every SuperSand filter is custom-engineered to meet individual application and site-specific requirements
The filter was originally developed by Waterlink/Nordic Water™ Products Nordic Water Products AB (formerly Axel Johnson Engineering AB) and is now available in North and South America through Waterlink Separations Division.
