Strantrol System7 Mechanical Room Controller
The System7 MRC automatically controls the operation of all mechanical, electrical and water chemistry control devices used in the conditioning and treatment of a facility's water
USFilter's Stranco Products introduces the Strantrol System7 Mechanical Room Control System (MRC), a new generation control system for aquatic facilities that operates as a complete mechanical room manager. The System7 MRC automatically controls the operation of all mechanical, electrical and water chemistry control devices used in the conditioning and treatment of a facility's water. The new system brings optimum filter system performance and water chemistry balance for unsurpassed water clarity and quality, and provides significant energy management and resource conservation capabilities. The new system:
In its energy conservation mode of operation, the System7 MRC is intuitive; it will assume the responsibility of energy management. This feature allows the controller to shut down the main recirculating system during non-use periods, when all the water parameters are satisfied, saving the facility money. While in this mode, the System7 monitors and maintains the critical water parameters (i.e., disinfection, pH, turbidity, temperature, etc.) as necessary.
- automates filter backwash procedures and can optimize filter performance through the introduction of polymers while continuously monitoring effluent water clarity.
- monitors and controls water chemistry (pH and HRR), controls water temperature, and monitors all chemicals and water level in the waste sump and surge chamber/balancing tank within the mechanical room.
- provides complete operation, supervision and historical datalogging for all mechanical room equipment. Windows-based software allows access, directly or remotely, to all data and events logged in the MRC and plots data for easy viewing.
