Split Seals - Solutions For Large Rotating Equipment

Chesterton's advanced split mechanical seals can eliminate leakage in large size pumps that were previously sealed with conventional packing. Eliminating process leakage stops the problems created by it – premature bearing and equipment failure, overall equipment and plant corrosion, biological hazards associated with wastewater, and the need to disassemble these large pumps to install new bearings and other damaged components.

Sleeve wear associated with conventional packing use is also eliminated.
