Solution Group Expands Leadership Team With New Hires, Promotion

Solution Group, a full-service, technology-driven water and wastewater management company, is pleased to welcome Tim Batterson and Ted Winkelman to the organization and announce the promotion of Chander Letulle. Collectively, the trio brings over 80 years of industry experience to Solution Group, where they will provide leadership and business development throughout the region.

President
Batterson joins Solution Group as the organization’s President. His professional background spans over 25 years of leadership and operations across a variety of industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, food and beverage and dairy. In his most recent role as CEO of Animal Supply Company (now Food Pet Experts), he led company integration following more than a dozen mergers and acquisitions. With Solution Group, Batterson will work hand-in-hand with the CEO for company-wide strategic planning, championing operational growth and driving execution across all services as the company continues to scale.

Vice President, Technical Services
Winkelman brings over two decades of wastewater and industry-specific experience to the Solution Group team as Vice President of Technical Services. Before joining Solution Group, he served as the environmental director at Agropur US where he was responsible for corporate-wide environmental compliance, including sourcing required permits for company reporting, leading wastewater treatment operations projects, and managing staff and operations at facilities across the country. In his new role, Winkelman will lead technological strategy as well as create processes and procedures that are built to ensure all Solution Group sites achieve optimal regulatory compliance and employ timely critical response capabilities.

General Manager
Letulle will now serve as General Manager of Solution Group. His promotion comes after joining Solution Group in July as Regional Manager, where he brought diverse experience in shaping organizational culture and cultivating strong working relationships with customers and staff. In his new role, Letuelle will lead regional wastewater treatment operations, focusing on local growth and customer development. He will also oversee financial performance, operational excellence, safety, talent development, and standardized execution across all sites under his supervision.

Batterson earned two bachelor’s degrees in operations management (supply chain) and human resources from the University of Iowa. Winkelman studied at Fox Valley Technical College to earn his degree in natural resources. Letulle holds an MS in environmental engineering and water systems from the University of California, Riverside.

The three join Solution Group at a major milestone in its growth, having recently received a strategic investment from private equity firm 424 Capital. These developments strongly position the company to lead the industry in tech-driven water solutions while enhancing water quality and accessibility.
