Series B-6000 Standard Port Bronze Ball Valves

Watts' standard seats are Durafill (carbon/glass-filled PTFE), except sizes 3 Ú4", 1" (20, 25mm) are Uniseal seats (enhanced PTFE) for lasting service that is suitable for a wide range of liquids and gases. Consult Watts for specific applications.<
FEATURES
  • Watts' standard seats are Durafill (carbon/glass-filled PTFE), except sizes 3 Ú4", 1" (20, 25mm) are Uniseal seats (enhanced PTFE) for lasting service that is suitable for a wide range of liquids and gases. Consult Watts for specific applications.
  • Electroless nickel plated brass ball is standard for smooth and durable finish. Ball is wiped clean during each operation of the valve.
  • Minimal pressure drop due to large ports.
  • Blow-out proof, pressure retaining stem.
  • Sizes 1 Ú4" to 2" (8-50mm) are pressure rated at 600 psi(41 bars) WOG non-shock; sizes 2 1 Ú2" to 4" (65-100mm) are pressure rated at 400 psi (28 bars) WOG non-shock, and at 150 psi (10.3 bars) saturated steam (over 150 psi steam requires SS trim).
  • Temperatures from 0° to 450°F (-18° to 232°C) at 50 psi(3.4 bars) for Durafill/Uniseal seats, and 0° to 350°F ( -18° to 177°C) at 50 psi (3.4 bars) for Virgin PTFE.
  • High cycle life reinforced PTFE stem packing seal, and thrust washer.
  • Vinyl insulator on heavy duty, zinc-plated, carbon steel handles.
  • Fast 1 Ú4 turn open or close operation.
  • Excellent for throttling and balancing applications of
    non-abrasive fluids where minimum flow is 20% to 100% of valve capacity.
  • Low operating torque.
  • Adjustable stem packing gland.
  • Each valve individually tested, air under water, in the opened and closed position.

    SPECIFICATIONS
    Valves shall be 2-piece construction, ASTM B-584 bronze body, ASTM B-16 or B-124 ENP brass ball, Durafill or Uniseal seats, PTFE stem packing, and blow-out proof stem. Valves shall be pressure rated to 150 psi (10.4 bars) WSP, 600 psi (41 bars) WOG for the 1 Ú4" - 2" (8-50mm) sizes, 400 psi (28 bars) WOG for the 2 1 Ú2" - 4" (65-100mm) sizes, and shall have either threaded NPT or solder end connections. Valves shall be manufactured to MSS-SP-110 standard. Watts Regulator Company B-6000 threaded or B-6001 solder end.
