Sentry/ASM Sampler

Sentry/ASM Samplers collect single composite samples for storage
How the Sentry/ASM Operates
Sentry/ASM Samplers collect single composite samples for storage. They provide maximum flexibility and versatility in a unit that will not become obsolete due to changing government regulations. The Sentry/ASM is a basic composit sampler that can be operated on either line power or any suitable 12 VDC battery. It is light weight for easy portability or it can be wall mounted, placed on top or side of an ice chest, or a refrigerator for sample preservation. The suspension harness provides simple installation in a manhole. The Sentry/ASM can be fitted with a second sample pump for simultaneous collection of sequential and single composite samples. Sample size is infinitely adjustable between 50 mL and 500 mL. The sampling collection interval is adjustable from 7.5 minutes to 3 hours.

How the Senrty/ASM Operates

The Sentry/ASM sampler is placed near the stream or sewer, or suspended in the manhole to be sampled and the inlet screen submerged. The inlet tubing is connected to the sampler's peristaltic pump tube by a press fit connector. The sample delivery tube is connected to the output side of the pump tube and led into the sample container. The number of samples per hour is set on the "Samples per hour" switch. The time until turn off is switch selected. Sample volume is adjusted with a knob to increase or decrease. The sampler may be set to purge before, after, or both before and after the sample is collected.
