SCADAview
SCADAview is Micro-Comm's own man-machine interface software(MMI)
SCADAview is Micro-Comm's own man-machine interface software(MMI). It allows the user to monitor the operation of a central-based (CTU) system, adjust parameters such as setpoints and HOAs, view graphs and generate reports based on historical information and export data to be used in custom spreadsheets and reports.
The main advantage of SCADAview over other MMIs is in it's use of a standard Windows interface for viewing and controlling the system. Customized graphic screens can be created and used for control, but the standard display and control screens will always be there to fall back on. This is especially useful when troubleshooting a system over the phone with a Micro-Comm technician.
Every copy of SCADAview is a "full development" version and there is no per-seat license. This means that the program can be installed by the customer on multiple desktop computers and laptops without buying additional copies. And since SCADAview is a standard Windows application, remote control software such as pcAnywhere will work well to allow remote dial-up operation.
